本物の花〜Hydrangea 紫陽花
ゴールドの淵の中は、
紫陽花やかすみ草、貝殻、他小花を使用して、モネの絵画
睡蓮を表現しました。
モネは、
朝から夕方まで、時とともに移り変わる池の様子、水面の反映と鮮やかな花の美しさを捉えようと試みたとされています。
特にモネの《睡蓮》は、油絵具を重ねて置くことで、表面に筆の跡や絵具の厚みが感じられる作品です。
絵具の凹凸と、花そのものの立体感をどう重ねるか、
表面に凹凸をつけたり、グラデーション等を工夫しました。

Hydrangea petal flower along with a flower petal filled medallion inspired by Monet's Water Lilies.
All the flower petals I use have been preserved, not dried, so that they maintain their color for a long time. I take extra care to make sure each and every one looks like it is still living on the tree.
